Hello! I've been considering eventually starting to play video games. Do you think I should buy a PS4 or a PC?

That is a classic debate, indeed! Depending on what you want, yes. Do you like long-term investments and flexibility, or are you more interested in simple games?

I suppose a little bit of both. While I enjoy the concept of playing games at a high level of quality, I also don't want to spend a lot of time configuring everything.

The PS4 could therefore be a better fit for you. It's quite easy: just connect it to your TV, pick up the controller, and start playing games. It's also far less expensive than creating a gaming PC.

It's true that the price is significant. However, I've heard that PC gaming offers more game possibilities and better visuals.

That's correct. Higher resolutions and frame rates are possible with a good gaming PC, particularly if you gradually increase your gear. Additionally, you may modify games, something that the PS4 isn't really capable of.

Mods sound cool. But what about exclusives? Doesn't PS4 have some really good ones, like The Last of Us and God of War?

Indeed, exclusives on the PlayStation are a major selling feature. The PS4 is fantastic if those games are important to you. Conversely, PCs have access to platforms like Steam, which have enormous sales, and a large selection of independent games.
